Design of composite pontoon structure of seaplane and verification

As a key component of seaplanes, the structural design of the pontoon plays a vital role in the safety of seaplanes taking off and landing on the water. Combining with the design requirements of a certain type of seaplane, a thick-skinned multi-frame composite pontoon structure and truss-type metal support structure are designed. The finite element model for pontoon structure and supporting structure is established via finite element software, and the strength analysis of metal and composite structure in the structure is carried out in terms of the Von-Mises criterion and Tsai-Wu criterion, respectively. In order to further verify the bearing capacity of the structural design and verify the accuracy of the finite element model, the self-developed testing device for static strength verification of seaplane pontoons and connecting structures was used to verify the static test of the structure. The tested results show that the strength and stiffness of the thick-skinned multi-frame composite pontoon structure and the truss metal supporting structure meet the design requirements, and the finite element model is accurate, which can provide a reference for subsequently designing the lightweight composite pontoon structure.
摘要
作为水上飞机的关键部件, 浮筒的结构设计对水上飞机在水面起降的安全性起到至关重要的作用。结合某型水上电动飞机的设计要求, 设计了一款厚蒙皮多框式复合材料浮筒结构及桁架式金属支撑结构, 在有限元软件中建立了浮筒结构及支撑结构的有限元模型, 并采用Von-Mises准则和Tsai-Wu准则分别对结构中金属材料和复合材料结构进行了强度校核。为了进一步验证结构设计的承载能力和有限元模型的准确性, 采用自主研发的水上飞机浮筒及连接结构静强度验证试验装置, 进行了静力试验验证。试验结果表明厚蒙皮多框式复合材料浮筒结构及桁架式金属支撑结构的强度、刚度满足设计要求, 有限元模型准确, 可以为后续轻量化复合材料浮筒结构的设计提供参考。
